Saving BLOCKS to the clipboard

You can save BLOCKS along with their property settings to the clipboard on the BLOCK list and reuse them again.

Clipboard overview

This is useful when you need to use the same property settings often. For example, if you need to set the Dataset or In case of non-empty tables properties of the Execute query BLOCK the same way several times, you can configure one such BLOCK, save it to the clipboard, and quickly reuse it several times.

info_outline You can save up to 10 BLOCKS to the clipboard.

The process for using the BLOCK clipboard is as follows:

  1. Save a BLOCK to the clipboard.

    Select Save BLOCK to clipboard from the BLOCK menu of the BLOCK you want to save.

    This saves your BLOCK to the clipboard section of the BLOCK list.

  2. Place BLOCKS from the clipboard onto the editor panel.

    Drag and drop BLOCKS from the clipboard section of the BLOCK list onto the editor panel.

  3. Edit the properties of a saved BLOCK.

    You can still edit properties after saving a BLOCK to the clipboard.

    1. Click on the BLOCK you want to edit from the clipboard section of the BLOCK list.
    2. Edit its properties.
    3. Click Save in the upper-right of the screen. Your edits will be lost if you don’t save.

    info_outline This does not change the properties of BLOCKS already placed onto the editor panel.

  4. Delete a BLOCK from the clipboard.

    To remove a BLOCK from the clipboard, click on the BLOCK from the clipboard section of the BLOCK list and click the trash button from its properties.
